Key of Life App was founded by Chad and Leiah Anfinson, two long-time residents of Clay County. Chad and Leiah were raised in Green Cove Springs and both attended Clay High School. They love their hometown and are proud to be able to live and work in the immediate area. Key of Life App was initially created by Chad when he found himself in the position as a caregiver for his aging father. He recognized an ongoing problem with tracking and maintaining his dad’s medical records. Necessity is the mother of invention, as they say, so using today’s technology he provided an innovative solution for others to maintain their own medical records, as well as share them when needed. Chad shared his insights with his wife, Leiah. As a primary care physician, Leiah recognized the benefits that his mobile application could provide to her patients. With strict HIPAA regulations, healthcare facilities don’t freely share information without permission, which can create delays in treatment and redundant testing. Chad and Leiah offer Key of Life to you in the hopes that it enables you to take a more active role in your treatments, maintain optimal health, and extract more value from the healthcare system. Together, they had a little idea that solved a BIG problem and they are working hard to bring it to life.
