Corbitt’s Produce Grand Opening – Saturday, March 2nd
Corbitt’s Produce & Specialty Shop – Green Cove Springs – promoteclay.com
Corbitt’s Produce (est. 1995) has returned to the area and has reopened as Corbitt’s Produce & Specialty Shop. Owners David & Pat Corbitt would like to invite old friends and new residents to join them at their Grand Opening on March 2nd. They are at 3293 Highway 17 just a bit south of Black Creek. The shop has a blue roof and is across from the Wendy’s and Winn-Dixie. Along with all the fresh produce they’re famous for, the new shop also has a variety of specialty items, from Datil hot sauces and specialty potato chips to old fashioned candy and Amish cheeses.
Staying true to their roots, you’ll step back in time when you walk through the door. You’ll want to dance when you hear the classic Oldies music, and smile when you see the old-time decorations. Just like the old days, David says you should, “Come getcha a Moon Pie & RC in a glass bottle.” And if you don’t like RC, they have Nehi’s Grapette, Double Cream, and many other favorites.
You can get fresh Village Bread, frozen meats, and a large selection of specialty items. Corbitt’s stocks a large variety of farm fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the year, including Tennessee vine ripe tomatoes, Silver Queen corn, shelled white acre peas, delicious peaches, Scuppernong grapes, and green tomatoes. They also carry local, raw honey, cane syrup, and Amish jams and jellies. And don’t forget Mayport jumbo shrimp and boiled peanuts!
Stop in and get an old-fashioned soda or fresh popcorn while you walk around and remember “The Good Old Days.” It’s a flashback to the past!
